Educopia Intern

Educopia Intern Donald Brown received his BA from Mississippi State University, and then went on to receive the Rhodes Scholarship. Studying at the University of Oxford, he received a Masters in Modern British and European History. Now an English doctoral student at Harvard, Donald has published widely on post World War II African American literature. He is currently immersed in the history of African American newspapers, and the preservation of born-digital newspapers. This passion was spurred on due to a local discovery of Vicksburg Citizens’ Appeal, a black Freedom Summer newspaper founded in his hometown of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
