OSSArcFlow: What Differences Make a Difference?
Investigating, Synchronizing, and Modeling a Range of Archival Workflows for Born-Digital Content
The Open Source Software Archival Workflow (OSSArcFlow) project brings together researchers, developers of 3 major OSS digital stewardship systems, and digital stewards at 12 partner institutions from across the US. The project seeks to document existing digital curation workflows, investigate how OSS systems integrate into these workflows, develop handoffs between these systems, and to identify broader sociotechnical factors impacting the sustainability and advancement of digital curation processes.
